Established in 2016, Skeleton Key Brewery is a family-owned and -operated microbrewery and taproom located in Woodridge, IL. We believe that craft beer is at its best when it blends a variety of palates and perspectives, and we aim to foster an inclusive environment in which individual differences are recognized, appreciated and respected.

Our 8,500 sq ft facility houses a 15bbl steam-fired brewhouse and three taproom seating areas with two separate bars. In addition to beer, we are passionate about education, community, live music, and bad movies.

EKPHRASTIC POETRY WORKSHOP W/ BEER INCLUDED!

Whether you’re a writer, an artist, or someone who aspires to bring more creativity into their life in 2026, this beginner-friendly session will help you tap into the inspiration all around us. Join Amanda ReCupido as she introduces the concepts behind ekphrastic poetry, a form that responds to or describes a work of visual art. A complimentary beer, cider, or seltzer is included!

ASKEN QUESTIONS: LIVE TRIVIA, WITH MUSICAL CLUES

Join us for an evening of themed Trivia, featuring four rounds of questions based on everything related to the holidays, with musical clues for each question! As always, Trivia is free to play, and 21+ with prizes for the top 3 teams. The game starts promptly at 7pm, so be sure and arrive by 630pm to get your squad signed up! Buona Italiano will be popping up, too :)

"SPEAKEASY SHUFFLE" FREE BREWERY TROLLEY

We're bringing back last year's FREE multi-brewery shuttle between Skeleton Key, Imperial Oak Brewing (Willow Springs), and Black Horizon Brewing Company (Willowbrook)! Each brewery will have a pair of cocktail-inspired beers on draft, as well as food vendors on site. From 12pm-5pm, shuttles will arrive and depart approximately every 30 minutes so you can hop on and off as you like.

On select Tuesdays, Skeleton Key transforms into a quiet oasis where you can escape life's hustle-and-bustle and take a personal time-out. Relax in relative silence with a beer and a novel, coloring book, crochet, work project, or whatever brings you peace.

Kids are welcome to hang with their folks in the Family Room, which has a bar service window.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets in our taproom; service animals only.
